This week is Ladies Bible Study Kick Off Week! I always LOVE and look so forward to Kick Off Week! Each time we Kick Off a new adventure through God's Word and relationships with one another I just get sooooooooooo excited! There is nothing in this world like sojourning together in God's Word! I hope I'm not the only one out there that gets this excited about Kick off day! Sunday night's Ladies group met last night, Monday nights group meets tonight at 6 and Thursday's group meets this week at 10 am. I hope to see each of you there!
We will be reading and discussing together Chip Ingram's book 'God As He Longs For You To See Him'. Our women's retreat last weekend was based off of the first three chapters of this book and two others ('The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer and 'Knowing God' by J.I. Packer both of which I recommend you read sometime!) If you missed out on the ladies retreat you can catch up on the content you missed by joining in Ladies Bible Study. We will discuss two chapters per week and will meet a total of five weeks. So please come join us!
I am still trying to recap our Ladies Retreat by sharing comments from those who attended. Below are comments from Kim Whittmore (Thanks Kim!):
I saw God working through the way everyone cared, loved and nurtured each other all weekend.
*Getting to know everyone better in the mornings and evenings outside the meeting room. (even though I enjoyed every moment of your
presentation and the music too)
*A+
*It helped me get down to the nitty gritty of my issues by seeing others perspectives.
*Loved the video! I definitely keep pushing Jesus out of the chair even after I give it back to Him.
*1)I hope to let him stay in the stool and make better decisions than the ones I come up with
2)I need to make myself get up and start my day with prayer and devotions. That's a real tough one for me. I'm a big push the alarm delay button
person!

If you are wondering about the 'chair' Kim is speaking of you can go to the link below & watch the video I used on Sunday morning when we were discussing the importance of submission to God.
Blessings to all,
